1. Order Processing | We aim to prepare and dispatch your order as efficiently as possible. All orders require 1–3 business days for processing. During this time, we confirm stock availability, complete quality checks, and package your items carefully to ensure they reach you in excellent condition. |
2. Shipping Timeframes | Once your order has been processed and dispatched, delivery timeframes will vary depending on the type of purchase: Standard Orders: Typically arrive within 2–5 business days after dispatch. Pre-Orders: May take up to 30 days after dispatch, depending on availability and supplier schedules. These timeframes are estimates provided by our courier partners. External factors may lead to slight variations, but we work closely with carriers to keep your delivery on track. |
3. Shipping Address & Order Changes | To ensure a smooth delivery experience, please take a moment to double-check that your shipping details are correct at checkout. Your order will be sent to the address you provide. Because we work quickly to process orders, address changes cannot be made once an order is confirmed. If you notice an error in your shipping details, please email us immediately. We may be able to cancel the order before dispatch so you can place it again with the correct information. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be changed or cancelled. Any redirect requests made directly with the courier are welcome; however, additional fees charged by the courier will be the customer’s responsibility. |
4. Delivery & Transfer of Risk | Our goal is for your item to reach you safely and on time. Delivery is considered complete once the package has been received by you or someone authorised on your behalf. At that moment, responsibility for the item transfers to you. If a courier cannot deliver the item due to reasons such as an incorrect address or unavailability at the delivery location, your package may be held for collection at a depot or designated pickup point. Risk transfers at the point the package becomes available for collection. Additional courier fees for re-delivery or return-to-sender may apply. |
5. Delays Outside Our Control | While we do our best to ensure timely shipping, certain events may occasionally impact courier networks. These include (but are not limited to) Â Severe weather or natural disasters, Industrial strikes, Customs inspections, Nationwide courier disruptions. Should any of these occur, we will assist wherever possible, but such delays cannot be used as grounds to cancel an order that is already in transit. |
6. Taxes & Duties | For our New Zealand customers, all prices shown on our website include GST. Customers purchasing from outside New Zealand may be subject to additional taxes or import duties depending on their country’s regulations. These charges, if applicable, are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend checking your local import requirements for clarity before placing an order. |
7. Warranty Coverage | We stand behind the quality of our products. Every purchase from E-Readers NZ is protected by a one-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. Within the First 30 Days If a verified fault occurs within 30 days of receiving your product, we will fully cover all shipping fees for inspection, repair, or replacement. Your satisfaction and peace of mind are our priority during this initial period. Warranty claims made beyond the first 30 days remain fully supported, with shipping costs shared 50/50 between E-Readers NZ and the customer. The Customer is required to provide photo & video evidence highlighting the issue(s). |
8. What the Warranty Does Not Cover | While our warranty is comprehensive, it does not apply to issues resulting from accidental or impact-related damage, liquid exposure, misuse, improper handling, or installation, unauthorised repairs or modifications, normal wear and tear over time or damage caused by power surges or use of non-approved accessories. These exclusions align with standard industry warranty practices and ensure fair protection for both our customers and our suppliers. |
